1. Quick Summery of How To Use

  1. Ensure you have received the watch + Charging Cable + User Manuel
  2. Charge your watch for 1 hour before first use Power Type: DC 5V-0.35A
  3. Check watch to find your SIM Card slot. In most models you need to open the back panel, and put the SIM Card. In some models it is at left or right side of watch with insert option.
  4. These watches run on 2G Network, except the ones that clearly state 4G Model. You can use Vodafone, Idea, BSNL, Airtel and other sim cards easily that support 2G Network. Reliance Jio SIM is not supported on our 2G watches. Please ensure you have active Mobile Data & SMS service on.
  5. Install SEKYO App on your smartphone from play store
  6. Use IMEI / Barcode / QR Code to register your account
  7. Pairing Done, enjoy!

 

 

2. Common Features

  • GPS+LBS Location – Our watches comes with GPS and LBS tracking functionality. GPS gives real time tracking up-to 10 meters radius proximity and LBS enabled watches track up-to 90 meters radius proximity.
  • GPRS (2G) Support – Our watches only support 2G data. Please ensure you use a SIM card such as Airtel, Vodafone, BSNL, Tata etc that also supports 2G Data. Most 4G providers except Reliance Jio support 2G Network on their 4G SIM. Reliance Jio SIM will not work in Sekyo watches (except 4G models)

3. Watch Introduction

  1. USB Slot – Use a 5V DC / 0.35A supporting power adapter to charge the watch
  2. SOS Button – Hard press for 3 minutes sends calls to 3 saved numbers
  3. Flashlight Button – To use the flashlight
  4. No Power Button – For better safety, there is no Power Off Button in the watch. It can only be powered off remotely from the mobile application controlled by parents.
  5. SIM Card Slot – Usually at the back panel. Unscrew it, move the battery very carefully, insert the 2G data supporting SIM card as per instructions, close the panel and screw it tightly.
  6. Return Button / Camera Button / Call Button varies with models

 

 

4. Sekyo Application Configuration

4.1 Install the SEKYO application from app store on your android or iPhone.

4.2 App log in (scan the QR code on the user manual to download and install the App on the phone, then open the App and you can find the page as following:)

4.3 App registration

You need to register manually. Scanning or input the 15 letters register code by hand to register. The register code is unique, can not be registered again.

4.4 FAQ's

  1. Wrong register code error: you may be entering incorrect IMEI / Phone Number
  2. Unable to Register Error – The register code have already been registered, you need to revert it first. The user account ID have already been registered, you need to change the account ID or revert the user account to register again
  3. Password Reset – To retrieve the password, you can use the register code and user account, or the email address used for registration.
  4. Please check to see if the watch SIM card is with 2G data network, as this device can only work with 2G network.
  5. Please check to see if the IP and ID number is correct, you must make sure that the ID number pasted on the watch is the same as the ID number of the device itself. The user can check the ID number of the device itself by sending the message “pw, 123456, ts#” from your cellphone to the watch (The watch must have a SIM card and powered on).

 

 

5. App Features: Install SEKYO App from App stores on Android & IoS

  1. Set the SOS number: 3 numbers can be linked to receive the SOS alarm from the watch. When the SOS button is pressed, the watch auto dials 3 emergency numbers in a sequence. If the calls are unanswered, the administrators receive SMS notification and app notification
  2. Monitor: Generally, set as the parent number. After the monitoring is turned on, the watch actively dials the set number. The watch cannot hear the sound of the phone.
  3. Classroom Mode: The watch blocks all calls & touch features in this mode. SMS alarm setting: low power, SOS alarm SMS switch. The number set here is the watch alarm message sent to this number. The alarm message is charged according to the normal message. After the number is set, the monitoring will be enabled by default.
  4. Phone book: The watch can be set with 10 numbers. These 10 numbers can dial with the watch and make two- way calls.
  5. Shut down remotely: After the watch is linked with mobile app, it cannot be turned off by pressing the turn on button, it can only be shutdown by the mobile app remotely.
  6. Geofence / Safety Zone: The minimum radius of the fence is 200 meters. When the user enters and exits the fence, an alarm will be generated.
  7. Find watch: If the watch is not around, send this command and the watch will ring for one minute for easy searching. Press any key on the watch to stop searching.
  8. Voice Chat – Voice chat between App and watch: enter voice chat, press record start to record voice, release and send the record voice to APP.
  9. Power Modes – Different modes have different upload intervals to save power

Normal mode :interval 600secs;
Power saving: interval 3600secs;
Real-time positioning mode :interval 60secs.

 

 

6. Troubleshooting

If your watch cannot be connected to the server for the first time, and the app sends notification to indicate that the device is not connected to the Internet. Please check:

  1. Check whether the SIM card in the watch is working with the network and has Mobile Data plan activated.
  2. Whether the SIM card in the watch enables data traffic, it must be compatible with 2g data. The watch can only use 2g data.
  3. Check the server parameters (IP and port), and ensure the ID is correct. The id barcode on the watch must be the same as the id written into the watch. The customer can use his mobile phone to edit the text message pw, 123456, ts # and send it to the watch. SMS must be in English input method).
